I WANT!!! I WANT!!! I WANT!!! TO SMELL LIKE ROSES ALL THE TIME

Blame it on being a girly girl, having a love for anything vintage, or feeling a strong connection to nature, but I am currently having an obsession with rose perfume. It smells timeless, natural and adult, and brings to mind Jane Austen novels, England, and being a lady. Love, love, love it. Two incredible scents are helping me quench the thirst for that rosy smell:

- True Rose Perfume Oil by Blushie

This perfume, which I purchased at Bizaar Bizarre, is amazing. The oil guarantees the scent will last a long time, it hydrates skin, and delivers a soft, true rose fragrance. I'm happy that it comes from a Bay Area artist and even happier that it only costs $6!!! These pocket sized perfumes are available in a variety of yummy scents. Stock up!!!

- Red Roses Cologne by Jo Malone

I received this fragrance as part of a Jo Malone scent collection, and I can't stop wearing it. The beauty of Jo Malone fragrances is that you can mix and match scents to create new ones. I totally plan on doing this, but I can't help but spritz myself with the Red Roses Cologne by itself. It's strong, lasts forever and smells like pure roses. In fact, it's "composed of seven types of roses from around the world," according to the Jo Malone site. The other day, my friend told me I smelled like roses, and I knew this scent was a keeper.

This picture doesn't do Trina Turk's "Fitzgerald" dress enough justice. It is even more beautiful in person!!! The Orchid color is rich, the structure of the dress flattering, and the shoulder ruffles feminine, fun and stylish. The little bit of stretch ensures a great fit and tons of comfort. The best part is that Trina Turk dresses are always a go to for both work and play. Sounds like a wardrobe staple to me!!!

Whenever I see something I love and really want, it's my first instinct to write about it under the "I WANT!!! I WANT!!! I WANT!!!" category on "PEEP THE POP!!!" My second instinct is to not tell anyone, especially if it's on sale and/or available in small quantities, in fear of not getting my own hands on it. But that wouldn't make me a good fashion blogger, now would it? So here is my latest "I want" item: Fred Flare's adorable bow cuff. I am an avid collector of cuffs and adore this one because it is so dainty and feminine. The fact that the price has been lowered from an already affordable $14 to $9.99 is the added bonus any shopper hopes for. Click fast, because there's only 3 gold cuffs left (sorry but the silver is sold out!!!).

Chanel has been on fire with its sold-out "Jade" nail polish. It is now available on eBay for up to $200.

I'm not getting my hands on "Jade" anytime soon, but I have, however, found another gorgeous shade, courtesy of Chanel.

"Vendetta" is a sumptuous, deep metallic purple that echoes the rich jewel tones that have been coming down the runways recently. It's the perfect balance between being on trend and having a staple in your nail polish collection. This is because "Vendetta" is dark enough to be a classic shade of purple, and is something different from your basic red, wine or neutral colors. The Curiosity Shoppe (855 Valencia St., SF) is brimming with unique, artsy objects that are full of personality and charm. Wanting to keep abreast of the newest items, I signed up for their email newsletter. Today's mailing included this awesome piece of art: a limited edition (only 100!!!) "White on Kraft"-colored San Francisco poster by Jenny Beorkrem.

I'm on a huge hype about starting my art collection, and this poster is cool (love the breakdown of the neighborhoods!!!), limited edition (I love those words), and affordable (only $35!!!). Plus it's San Francisco!!! This is so going up in my living room.

So what do you do if you love the phone/PDA you have but want to make it pink, or any other color, print or pattern??? You go to ColorWare, where you can customize everything from your phone to your iPod to your T.V. All you do is pick out the colors, etc. online and ship it in (you can also buy a new one that's customizable). There's even color matching, so you can get the exact color of the new BBs. Have a cool company or personal logo??? Emblazon it on all your gadgets, like the Coach Signature Print laptop above. I'm a huge fan of customizing and this is like a candy store to me!!!

I absolutely love my BCBG Katchen pumps, that fade from black to white (ombre) and make me much taller than my 5 feet, 6 and a half inches. (I really should have bought two pairs.) Frustrated at not being able to find a replacement pair, imagine my excitement at coming across these lovely ombre stilettos from Colin Stuart on the Victoria's Secret website. I love the color fade, the badass 4 1/2 inch heels, and the less witchy, rounded toe. The $70 price tag is equally impressive.

Just like the "ALEXTHEARTISTE JAM OF THE DAY," "I WANT I WANT I WANT!!!" will be a regular post featuring awesome things that I want to buy (trust me, there will be many) and think you should buy too. I get a rush from finding a great item (especially if it's original/out of the box/cute/badass) and an even bigger rush in telling someone about it. So here goes...the first "I WANT I WANT I WANT!!!"

How cute are these speakers???!!! The 500XL Desktop Earbud Speakers by Fred & Friends are made to look like iPod earbuds on steroids (500 times the size of the original). It's a great way to get big sound and a fun look as well. I think they drop kick the regular iPod docking station and keep the whole Apple look going, for only $50!!! (They also connect to your CD player or PC and run on batteries or plug into the wall.) I think my boyfriend and I are signing up for this one!!!
