Mila Kunis and Sarah Hyland from "Modern Family" look very much alike--so much so, that Hyland dressed up as Kunis' character Jackie from "That 70s Show" for Halloween.

SEEING DOUBLE: "THE ROOMMATE" AND "SINGLE WHITE FEMALE???"
I just saw the trailer for "The Roommate" on TV today. It looks watchable, maybe even good, but I couldn't help but think of another movie that references psycho-ass roomies--"Single White Female." Let's hope "The Roommate" brings something new to the table.

VINTAGE JEWEL: CLAUDETTE COLBERT'S CAMEL COAT WITH SPOTTED RABBIT TRIM
This camel coat is so fabulous I might have to nab it for myself (although I do feel guilty about the poor rabbits). Not only is it stunning, it belonged to Academy Award-winning actress Claudette Colbert!!! I'm so having a fashion moment right now over this piece. FAB, FAB, FAB.

SEEING DOUBLE: EDIE SEDGWICK AND JENNIFER GARNER

Although Sienna Miller did a great job as Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl (in my opinion, and from what I remember), imagine if Jennifer Garner would have played her!!! Their resemblance is uncanny--from the dimples, to their cute noses that scrunch when smiling or laughing, to their large brown eyes that do the same. Another similar quality is that they mastered cute, while also knowing how to be stylish and vampy (true women!!!). Garner was said to have shown interest in playing Edie in a 2003 play, Andy and Edie, so she must have felt it too.
In Sienna Miller's defense, she does have an essence of Edie:

NETLFLIX IT: "FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL"
I didn't expect it to be that funny (with all the "funny" movies that have been coming out lately), but Forgetting Sarah Marshall was hilarious. (Judd Apatow never seems to disappoint.)
Although all the actors are good in the film, which revolves around a heartbroken guy who travels to Hawaii to try to forget his ex, the scene stealers are definitely lead actor Jason Segel (who also wrote the script!!!), Russell Brand, and Jonah Hill.
Judd Apatow has this cool, funny buddy system thing going. He casts the same actors in several films, which is great because they are all hilarious, plus you feel a sense of nostalgia each time you see them in a movie. Hill, who you know from Superbad and other Apatow projects, had me cracking up as a desperate and emotionally
insensitive waiter. Segel, who was in Knocked Up, was perfect in this movie as the sad, rejected ex-boyfriend.
Russell Brand may be a new, and refreshing revelation to you--no one was funnier. His mastery of that unassuming British humor and smart-assedness had my boyfriend and I laughing out loud throughout the film. We replayed Aldous Snow's (Brand's character's) musical performance several times.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a movie that you'll definitely want to rent, and probably add to your DVD collection. It's the funny nuances throughout that will have you cracking up big time.

SEEING DOUBLE: TERRENCE HOWARD AND EVA MARCILLE (PIGFORD)
With almond shaped green eyes, caramel skin and rounded features, don't Terrence Howard and Eva Marcelle (Pigford) look like ridiculously good looking siblings???

SEEING DOUBLE: DANIEL CRAIG AND FRANCOIS-HENRI PINAULT
Cropped blond hair, bushy brows, super blue eyes, a pudgy nose and small lips make Bond man Daniel Craig practically indistinguishable from Francois-Henri Pinault, Salma Hayek's baby daddy and CEO of PPR (which owns a good chunk of Gucci, YSL, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and more).

"AN AMERICAN IN PARIS" THIS SATURDAY IN THE PRESIDIO
An American in Paris
I love classic movies. I love free movies in the park. The two together equal an event I don't want to miss. An American in Paris, the latest Film in the Fog: Outdoor Movie Screening, is being shown in the Presidio, "on the Lawn at the Main Post Theatre, [on] 99 Moraga Avenue" tomorrow, Saturday, September 27. At 5:30pm, there will be live music, courtesy of the Supersonic Saxes from the Air National Guard Band, followed by the movie screening at 7:00pm. This is one of my favorite films, full of color, dance and song. It stars two greats: Leslie Caron and Gene Kelly, and won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1951. Come watch An American in Paris under the stars and I'm sure you'll be enchanted too.
